IDF Kills PIJ Rocket Operative in Gaza as Flydubai Investigation Widens; US-Iraq Withdrawal Reverberates (Oct 01, 1126 UTC, 1426 Israel) (Evening Edition)
The IDF killed a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket operative in Khan Younis, the latest in a series of strikes on Gaza figures it says were violating the ceasefire. The UAE opened a formal investigation into the Flydubai cockpit attack and suspended flights to Israel, while El Al mounted a rescue operation for Israelis stranded in Dubai. The US-led coalition completed its withdrawal from Iraq, drawing celebration from Iran-backed factions and a June 30, 2027 disarmament deadline from Baghdad.
